Toni's Blog

Once in a while, when the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars, I get to go out sans children.  It is a hallelujah moment most defnitely.  Thanks to my most wonderfully amazing husband (yeah, he knows he doesn't get this much praise) I had the chance to go to the movies, twice!

The first night, Friday night, I went with a certain friend who's picture you might just see on the front page of this website.  Since she's a Rom/Com buff than me, the Vamp Vixen (see movie review in the latest issue of Jill) we decided to go the Rom/Com route.  We went to the latest movie showing of It's Complicated because  SOMEONE had to go to the bookstore, ahem.

Gigantic popcorn and gallons of soda in hand, we made our way to the showing room.  We were the only ones in the theater that night, and boy was that a treat.  The only issue was when we dropped popcorn, the ushers knew just who dirtied the theather.  Sorry Champlain Center Cinema.

The next night I went to Cumberland head with a friend who is less Rom/Com more Vampires to see the movie Daybreakers.  Also bucket of popcorn and soda, but more crowded theater.  Then we did A&W for dinner.  Yum.

So thanks to everyone for a great weekend, husband for letting me go, kids for not being animals and good friends, real friends, whose company cannot be matched.  See you next time!
