What a great experience at the mall today.  I met my friend Mary Lou and her daughters, one of which is only a month old.  We took our sweet time walking around the mall and chatting, since we hadn't seen each other in a while.  How pleasant today was!  My kids were well behaved, we got in a decent work out and we had great company.

The conversation was wonderful as well.  Mary Lou asked me about how I was feeling with the pregnancy.  She's quite an insightful woman this friend of mine, and somehow I knew she wasn't talking about physically.  We chatted about having children close together - her son and daughter are only about 15 months apart, so she feels my pain!  It was so nice to swap stories and to chat about things.  I love having friends who are in the same boat as I am.  I felt no sense of contempt from her, as I do from others, about having a children so soon after giving birth.  It was an all around great day!  So great, I plan to do it again soon.  Not too soon though, I'm not a health nut!
